Bethesda Softworks, announced today that it will release The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles for Xbox 360 at retail. Gamers will now be able to play the award-winning expansion to the 2006 Game of the Year, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, without accessing Xbox Live online entertainment network. The retail disc will also include the downloadable content, The Elder Scrolls IV: Knights of the Nine.

Released in March 2006 for Windows and Xbox 360 and in March 2007 for Playstation 3, Oblivion has already earned countless awards from publications around the world and won numerous Game of the Year and RPG of the Year awards. It has also recently achieved the status of both Xbox 360 Platinum Hit (North America) and Xbox 360 Classic (Europe).
