Three events are taking place in British gaming very soon, so we thought it would be nice to bring more information to you about these.

If you have ever wanted to hear the stunning music of Halo, Mario, Sonic, Zelda and Final Fantasy played live by a full, professional orchestra then that’s exactly what’s happening at Video Games Live at the Southbank Centre, London, on October 22.

The London Gaming Festival is growing in stature every year and offers something for everyone, for gamers to their parent.

Here is a full list of the events planned so far.

6 Oct - 4 Nov Tha Click exhibition
22 October Be Very Afraid IV
22 October Video Games Live
22 - 26 October Skills Week
22 - 24 October Dare at the Festival
22 - 26 October Play/Time Games Lab
23 - 24 October London Game Career Fair
25 October Eyes on the Game
26 October Sense of Play 07
02 November Fuse 07

As if the excitement of the London Gaming Festival wasn’t enough, you can now vote for your favorite games in both the Golden Joystick Awards (www.GoldenJoystick.com) and The BAFTA Video Games Awards.

The Golden Joystick Awards has all the best games of the year are up for nomination including Guitar Hero II , Viva Pinata and Crackdown and they are just waiting for you to cast your vote, after all these awards are about you, so head to www.GoldenJoystick.com and cast your vote today.

Last but not least, the BAFTA Video Games Awards are also around the corner, although most of these awards are judged by BAFTA’s esteemed panel, the PC World Gamer’s Award allows you to vote for your favorite game of the year. There is some stiff competition for the prizes with games like the Xbox 360’s very own Gears of War up against the PS3’s big hitter Resistance: Fall of Man not to mention Wii’s Wii Play and PS2’s FIFA 07, so head to www.ObsessedWithGames.co.uk and cast you vote and be in with a chance of winning a bundle of cool gaming gear like an Xbox 360 Pro Console, a wireless gaming chair, a trip around EA’s studios and 4 tickets for the BAFTA awards ceremony itself.
